I am sorry!
If it makes you feel any better we had babies in a swimming pool in our bathroom with a heat lamp to hatch. A few got to dry to hatch and died! I seen it the next morning.
It broke my heart.
But i did help hatch our duck Arthur.

Ive had a couple like that too in the past. Its still heartbreaking.
