I just killed the biggest......GRAPHIC PICS!!!!!!!!

We have killed several that size on our place. Usually male.
And yes, they like chicken if they can get them. They will climb the roost, grab them, fall to the ground and eat them. All you find is the carcass of your chicken as they don't tote them off.

Usually though, I find them in my feed room if I leave the door open or in my garbage.

I have seen a lot of possums around here, but never one this big!! I just can't beleive how heavy he was!!!

Did ya make a Granny Clampet Possum Pie or drag him out in the road and put it in the road so it looked like he died of NATURAL causes. Wont the first one on the scene be surprised when they bite into the bullet.

Way to go! Keep working your way up to Missouri! I trap quite a bit and usually catch around a 100 or so a year and catch a few around the coop as well. They definitely will gnaw on a live chicken and kill it - just not as fast as a coon. I am sure you saved some birds!

Well Done. A possum will kill and kill and kill until they can not kill any more. They are the worst, right after a dog that will kill until they can not find anything to kill.

The last possum that showed its butt, lost it in my barn.

I no longer carry a 22, it is just not enough for the preds. A shotgun is too much, so I am looking for an alternative.

I got this one with my S&W .357mag. Have you tried a small gauge shotgun? Like a 410/16/20? I'd love to have a 410.

Gives a new meaning to the term "bite the bullet"?

Now cut it open, gut it, and throw it into the run and let the chooks have at it. I suspect mine would finish it in two days, one for each side.
