We got our babies today and they are so freaking adorable! Two Plymouth Rock Barred, two Golden Laced Wyandotte, two Buff Orpingtons, one Rhode Island Red and one Golden Sex Link. They are so comical! I love watching them stretch their little legs and wings out, hopping around and flapping, cuddling with each other, a few of them have fell asleep standing up which is so funny, and one of the BOs grabbed a piece of dry poop and ran around the brooder with it in its beak like it was the greatest prize ever. Such personalities! I just want to watch them all day!

That’s why I have the itch to add some new chickens this spring! My current 6 are going to be a year old next month. Although they are pretty humorous as adults too.

Such personalities! I just want to watch them all day!

We just got our babies on Tuesday. I’ve been spending so much time sitting on the kitchen floor next to the brooder, just watching their little antics. They’re so funny! Enjoy!

I just love seeing their little personalities emerge. Our RIR is a bit bossy, the GSL is so laid back, one of the BOs is hilarious and always making me laugh, and one of the PRB seems somewhat goofy LOL My husband calls her “derpy” LOL
