I just met Andisgarden and look what I got!!!!!!!

She had an ad on Craigslist, and we got to talking and realized we knew each other from here! So, I went out to her house to look at her EE roos she had, and picked up this beauty!

Here's a slightly better shot...

The color is off in these pics, but he looks to be a blue and pale reddish orange. Not sure what color that would be. He is the sweetest thing!!!

His name is Dierk, and he is around 13 weeks. On the ride home, he decided he had to ride in my lap. He settled right in and took a nap, ate a bit of my hamburger bun, then wanted to snuggle up under my chin.

I absolutely LOVE

him! I let him run around in the backyard for a bit, but he wanted me to hold him, so I did! Now, he is sitting on my lap sleeping while I type.

He might be my new favorite chicken E-V-E-R!!!

Just don't tell the big girls...they might not understand!

He is a beautiful boy! He sure sounds like a sweetie! I get jealous when I hear of BYC members meeting!

There are so few of us in Montana(although many more then when I first joined) but we are spread so far apart! I did find out there is a member that lives a a little ways away from where we are spending our vacation. I am hoping she will be up for a meeting!

Thanks everyone! I am so excited! He is the sweetest thing I've ever had. He just wants to be held or sit on my shoulder all the time! I can't wait til the little pullets are old enough to meet him!

I'll try and take a better pic since the sun is going down!

I met a BYC'er the other day. You are very nice lilchick and it was a pleasure meeting you and all the wonderful animals on your farm. And I LOVE the babies we got from you. I hope you enjoy the ones you got from us too. BYC is a wonderful place! Congrats on your new baby. He's beautiful! Reminds me of my roo Sir, always wants to be with me. I love that!
