I just need to vent a little

Everyone needs to remember that if you post something on a public forum, that not everyone is going to agree with you. You have to be able to handle everyone's opinions...even if you don't like them.

An eleven year old should know better!! If it was a 5 year old I cold see it....but even my daughter who just turned 6 is so responsible and almost to concerned about the safety of her animals. As for the child, I can relate completely with you. My nieces also used...noticed used....

to come to my house after school until they decided to get the 4 wheeler out without permission and run it down the side of my new car!! I told their mom and no consequences for their behavior. Funny though, 2 mo. later she called me complaining about how a kid at the ball park ran a water gun down the side of her car. She said she called the Mom and everything. These girls are so vindictive and cause problems with everyone. I love kids but I do think at a point they can take some responsibility. And parents make sure they are doing their job!! Parenting!!!! Thanks for letting me vent!!

I would definitely remove the chicken privileges. And if she continued to ignore or disobey me, I would no longer have her over. Tell her mother. Let her lay down the rules. It's great that you help out a friend, but there has to be limits. But on the bright side, no birds were injured. I hope all of the eggs hatch.
