I have had my chicks of different ages in a brooder covered in plastic sheeting, heat lamp inside and a think hay floor. They have done great!!! Last night it was 33 and inside the brooder it was 79!!!!!! I was so happy. They are 4, 4.5 and 6 weeks old.
