SO send a magazine offer to capital one, or send capital one's offer to bank of america.....

I do it for a different reason.

Our Rural delivery gal who works her bunns off plowing thru snow sleet rain and all kinds of stuff. She has to do a mail count this week, the post office picks the slowest weeks and twice a year they have an amount that they get paid by.

Funny thing, I always have a bunch of credit card replys that need to be sent back, stuffed of course with their own crap... Sometimes the chickens come home to roost so to speak.

Chase Manhattan and Citibank are BAD....I used to throw them out and one day, someone told me to open them up and just return the postpaid envelope and mail them off. Now I am enjoying this! If more and more people do this, they will eventually stop the mailings. We used to get alot and now we are getting fewer and fewer but these two banks are the worse ones!

Please be careful when throwing away those offers. It is one of the most common
techniques to steal your identity by grabbing those offers will a lot of personal info
on them. Shred or burn!!!


The major credit bureaus sell lists of people to credit card companies. They evaluate
you based on your fico score and current debt.

Check out lifelock.com (I'm considering using it)
Check out americanexpress.com/creditsecure (I use it and love it.)
Truecredit is good too if you aren't an Amercian Express customer.
