I just wanted to hatch some eggs🥚🥰 welcome to my journey 😁🥰

I got a house and a nice size yard and seen a few houses with chickens and thought why not...but I had no idea how or where to start so I started reading on it and it got more and more interesting...a coworker of mine hatched some eggs and hearing about it I thought that was so cool...she kept telling me I should do it and one surprised me with a incubator and that was the push I needed....I looked into hatching eggs and purchased some it all happened way too fast 8 weeks later I have 5 now 5 week old chicks that I love the journey was so exciting...I have learned so much and look forward to everyday since I started...they are olive eggers and are going to lay chocolate eggs now ofcourse I am not sure how many girls I actually have but I am leaning to at least 3 ...there are 2 that I think are boys time will tell...here are a few pics from the start I will post as time passes ...they went from a brooder to a coop in garage i am starting to set up a run and coop outside so stay tuned...​

Wonderful! It's an amazing journey, with many ups and downs that will leave you amazed, frustrated, exhilarated and scratching your head, sometimes all at the same time! I second the advice from @GreenJay and add a second ... build it NOW - those little buggers grow faster then you think!

So I've heard lol I cant have more than 6 hens but I have been curious and started looking into getting a bigger property

Here they are doing what I believe is the pecking order...they all do it but Penny does it the most to all of them Lilo doesnt stand down so easily and is the biggest one...Lilo and Penny are the black chicks below
