Wow Guys!!!

I sold all my chickens in the summer to focus on my ducks and horses. I recently started missing my beloved chooks and reached out to a fabulous local breeder who i’ve worked with in the past....

Well! I came home with a 15 bird flock of Very Nice Ayam Cemani... No mulberry to be found!

4 BRLW that she is known for *im dying, my heart can’t take it!*

3 barnvelder with gorgeous lacing

3 jubilee Orpingtons

and 6 splash and blue Silverrudds

all mature breeding birds! Happy Thanksgiving Indeed ( Canada)

ok Management question!

we have the birds in 3 seperate pens!

Ayam Cemani Pen, Feather Recovery Pen ( over zealous roosters by the looks of it) and in our giant outdoor pen we have BRLW ( including roo) 2 Barnvielders, Orpingtons and the Silverrudds.

This is the first time the birds have been mixed to they are staying in their own groups but I’m wondering if the Silverrudds are too small to be in with the BRLW roo?

He is the only rooster in the pen and so far is quiet and a sweetheart!

I wonder if they are all quiet because they are transitioning from the breeding pen to a fenced acre with lots of action? we will see!

here are a few of the birds, they are still settling down and it’s hard to get good shots!

The horses and ducks are very interested in the new neighbors.
