You had me too curious so I went out and made this. Now I want to know what these two are lol!
They even have slightly different colors

Yep, I was pretty sure that was a pea comb! So the pea comb bird (bottom) is likely an easter egger. She's almost definitely your second blue egg layer.

The top girl with the single comb, who knows, really :) A mix of some kind, most likely.

Thank you. That would explain the black chics and the grey chics that I'm hatching!

Now what do you think my roo is? I was thinking lavender Orpington, but he has a little brown.

Actually that's down to your rooster - he's blue barred :) That's the color, not the breed, haha.

Blue is dominant, so the half of the chicks that inherit his blue gene are blue. The other half are black because solid blue like the rooster is, is based on extended black - which is also dominant.

Also, some of the chicks are going to be barred. The ones with the head spots. Your rooster is single barred, meaning only one copy of barring - that's why only some of the chicks are barred and not all of them.
