You can tell she spends time with them because they were so calm and friendly around her. She wasn't just playing "farmer" for the camera. Very cool!

And she is not afraid of petting them either, such confidence of a gal who loves her chickens. She did mentioned "my chickens" on her last year show so she had them for a while.

A great story, and she even has rescue chickens! Wonder where they came from? They certainly seem to love the coop and run as well as Paula herself! I got to eat at her restaurant in Savannah, GA, "The Lady and Sons". I took my wife there for her birthday with my son and we stood in line for 150 minutes!! Worth every one, I tell you.

She knows how to cook. When making special meals, I follow her rule; "You can never have enough butter, y'all."
