Is it possible for 5-6 week old mallard and rouen males to already have a green sheen on their heads? Both of my older ducks have this green sheen coming through on the very top of their heads in the sunlight and under certain lights in the house.....ACK!!! Thought is was a reflection off the grass and moved them to the deck but it was still there. Have 3 others who also see it without any prompting from me...I just thought I was seeing things, so never even mentioned it.
Please tell me I'm having acid flashbacks or something, cuz if it's possible, I might have 2 drakes and 2 hens...which I have heard is not a good combo.
