Chirping
I know this bird is young I am just kind of curious what kind of chick it could be. S/he has chipmunk coloration. The only thing I know is she came from a pen labled, "Straight Run Heavy Breeds" What are the breeds that carry this coloration?, please. I will get more pictures today when I go out to the garage and am able to take them to the yard.

I know it is normal for chickens to have a pecking order. Since this is my first flock since childhood. Do chicks hatched, immediately assert their dominance. S/he has been in control since day one. S/he is also the biggest and heaviest of all the chicks. Introduction of new chicks at week 2 produced the same behavior as she ran right over and asserted dominance. 1 chick decided to fight back and was quickly and firmly put under control.
Is this an indication that she is a he???
