We have 4 RSL's. Now 3 out of the 4 are laying which is great, they are about 20-21 weeks or so. They lay every day. Even as new layers. It's been over a week now and the first one who layed has been laying every single day. The second one started laying a few days later and still she lays every day as well. The 3rd just started laying today. One more to go. But, so far each one has been very very regular.

Is that odd?

( Not that I am complaining)

I don't have sex links but they are supposed to be good layers. Sounds like your girls got off to a good start. One of my Wyandottes was pretty 'reliable' once she started laying, not daily but I'd get 4-5 eggs a week from her. First few eggs a bit smaller but more productive than I expected. Enjoy those eggs

Our 4 red stars were pretty awesome layers through their first winter, but since we stopped lighting them in the spring it's been more like an average of 3 per day.
