You are really going to have to go over to the how-tos on incubating. You will have to have an inclosed box, of some type, unless your humidity is already up to aroung 40% or so. You will have to have a thermometer, and with out a thermostat to regulate the temperature, every drop or raise in room temperature will cause a drop or raise in your eggs temperature, which you would have to regulate by checking the thermometer often, like every 15 minutes, and shutting the light off, turning it on, moving it closer of farther away.
Even the most basic homemade incubators have thermostats. And I am having trouble getting better then a 50% hatch rate in my boughten incubator! I wish you the best of luck, but if I were you I would look into building one.
