i would try to find some mite spray its like u having lice but on a chicken would u want to get rid of them

Do you have other pets?
You can give a chicken a bath with flea shampoo but you have to blow them dry so they don't get chilled.

i took her 2 baths before with

human shampoo then blow dried her.

dont use human shampoo it can cause skin problems its not right for their skin

they said they only have food.

That helps, but you really need the flea shampoo to make the mites stay away longer.
She'll still lay eggs if she has a mild case of mites, but if they get really bad she could stop laying.
