AmieH that looks great! U will def have to show some pics when u get done! keep me updated on your gardening. Only thing we've done with it is broken the ground up put out fertilizer & lime if it didn't stay wet & freezing I may could get somewhere with it! My grandad always planted on Good Friday as a rule of thumb (but my thumb isn't so green so I got an almanac) lol

I put them in on the 1st so we shall see. We have had issues before, but we got an egg turner this time so we are hoping it will turn out better. What eggs are you hatching now?

Oh wow you are not far at all. What kind of chickens do you have?

The 2 wk old are Buff Orpington, Barred Rocks, and White Leghorns (2 of each). The 5 day olds are Americanas (6 of them).

Hello . Do you all know anyone in Rock Creek that owns chickens? We don't have an HOA but there are rules for the neighborhood, one of which is no chickens allowed. I'm trying to research as much as I can before I go talk to them and ask if I can have hens on my property. I've never had chickens before so I'm a super Newbie. I guess if I knew there were other ppl here that had chickens, I know I have a chance in owning some myself. Otherwise, I don't have a chance.
