You sound honest, and you must be extremely hard working to have had clients that used your services foro so long!

I'd love to hear your tips.....and I'm SURE that even though I've been cleaning my house for 25 years, I could learn to do it better and faster!!! And after you taught me how to do it all, I'd still probably pay you to clean for me! It'd be the best money I could spend! It's worth it to me!!!

I could share with you my knowledge of horses/riding (I can clean a stall, saddle, bridle, waterer lickity split!!!), or I could share with you my knowledge of classical music (especially Oratorios!), or photography, or........well we all have gifts we can share with eachother!

In short - I wish you were my friend AND my cleaning lady!!!!!

i agree that she probably doesn't want to clean,even if you give her cleaning tips.
i hate cleaning my house,or any house.i would much rather clean coops and stalls.
you could make the offer and let her decide.
if she keeps you,you offered.if she takes you up on it,she will probably have nice referals for you.

I had a gal come in once every two weeks to do my house, I was so spoiled. I have enough to do without the house too, but I had to let her go. She did tell me a lot of tips to help me, but I still hate it. As soon as I can, Im having her come back, and I might even give her a raise!

Tricks or not, you sound like you were a guilty pleasure of hers, like getting your nails done, I can file, polish and buff my own, but like it so much better when someone else does it. You were her one less thing she had to worry about. I do think she will call you back.
You could always joke, I'm telling you this stuff in hope that you stink at it and will be able to call me back soon!
I hope for the best for both of you!
Oh yeah, please post some tips, I am so over whelmed with things because of going back to work, I can't keep up with everything!

Makes sense to me Red. I hate cleaning house, no matter how easy it appears to be. I wish I could afford to hire someone to clean mine! After I graduate, that will be one of my pleasures of having, a house cleaner. I can clean my house, but I DO NOT WANT TO

Yep... I hate it too. Badly...

I actually did have a house cleaner at one point... but alas, no more. *sobs*

I worked for Home Health and had to clean 5 houses a day and cook meals for 3 of those houses. NEVER AGAIN! By the time I got home, I did not want to clean my own house or cook supper. Someone has to really enjoy cleaning and cooking for those jobs. I admire them, but is just isn't for me.
