I lost my favorite hen today

It's funny how one of them can really stand out from the crowd, isn't it? I've had hens for 10+ years, and I've had two that were exceptional that way, and both were the "extreme" layers.

Her buddy Dot is not happy. She's kind of a loner anyway. She'll come around, but I can tell that she misses her too.

So sorry you lost a gem of a chickie. It's hard losing a favorite. I know, I lost my favorite last year and I still miss her so much, she was that special. Hope time heals your wound!
