any more details you could give? maybe we can help figure out what happened. typically though i blame raccoons.

Seems they squeezed under the coop door, which is an old shed. Seems they got one out with out any problem but the other chick was shredded.

i'm gonna stick with raccoons, then. and they'll be back. get some 1/4" hardware cloth framed up under that gap by tonight, or something. good luck. seeing them get torn to pieces is always especially hard... i lost two chicks once to coons that tore them through chicken wire. horrible.
