I love my chickens. Just sayin'.

My chickens don't smell but I clean the coop once or twice a week. I have a cute lawn chair sitting out there and our deck overlooks their area. So, we sit out on our patio chairs and watch them or I go down to the run when they are free ranging.

I love to sit on our deck with a cup of coffee and just watch them...relaxing and entertaining. Just yesterday, my black orp flew from the fence to the top of my greenhouse and was singing an egg song (no eggs, though). My daughter eventually got her to fly back down.

Have you ever buried your nose in their back feathers on a warm, sunny day? I LOVE that smell!
