My chicks are about 7-8 wks old now and I love watching them. Especially my little cockerel. He runs like a dork and gets excited to see me because he knows I have food in my hands lol. He will chest bump and run over heads of the chicks to get to me haha! Here he is with some of his lady friends

Yes, I have 4 golden laced Wyandottes, 3 australorps(one being a cockerel) and 4 white brahmas. I love them all but I do have a few favorites. Shhhhhh!

My little Ronnie Roo is growing and doing rooster things like putting a stop to any “arguments” between the pullets and he now makes sure they are all tucked in coop for the evening. He will even come out and double check the run to make sure there are no stragglers(we have one little Wyandotte that likes to be last so she can keep pecking at the suet feeder when no one is around ha!)
He’s more watchful of surrounds, too. He hasn’t started crowing yet. He’s about 10 weeks old now.
