I made a rag doll

I made a rag doll. My Grandma used to make these. I was fortunate enough to find the same pattern. It was printed in 1962. Grandma did the hair different than the pattern. She made it much sturdier. I remember when I was a little girl she showed me how to do the hair. What do you think?

This was actually my second one. The first one ended up with her hair looking wrong. While I was doing it, I could almost hear Grandma gently saying, "That's not how I showed you." Her hair ended up too thin and too long on the top.
