I have showgirls from truebluesilkies, silkies from cjsilkie, and tons of more mottled bantam cochin eggs...

I won a couple of auctions for mottled bantam cochin eggs for nearly nothing, and I have some Jamie Matts eggs.

I was having trouble hatching so I loaded up on eggs! Also I need to give some chicks to my neighbor for loaning me their incubator. So I hope I get enough chicks out of all of it.

The showgirls are for me, the silkies for the DD, and the mottled bantam cochins are for me (but for DD to show at the fair.)

Yeah, I'm trying some silkies again, too. I only got 2 out of that last hatch.
I hope your showgirls hatch... I STILL wanna see some pics of showgirl chicks!
I think they are terribly cute! My bator is loaded up, too. I'm hatching around the 25th. Do you have any due to hatch around that day? You made an excellent broody partner before.
Keep me informed about the showgirl hatch. I can't get any of my own (DH thinks they are "hideous") so I'll have to hatch vicariously through you!

insiderart congrats on your hatch!! What colors are they? Did you see my showgirl I hatched from trueblueshowgirl? Well then I guess I'll have to show you! LOL I only hatched 1 out of 12. But I found a guy 10 minutes away with white silkie chicks and I got 2 so hopefully my little one will be okay. GOOD LUCK!!

Drmyeyes soooo cute! I have 6 developed eggs due to hatch the 12th from trueblue. Just candled last night, I'm so excited I can hardly wait! I'm sick of killing my showgirl eggs, and keeping the eggs in the incubator they grew in and locking down there seemed to make a huge difference. I think my temp in the Hatcher of Dooooom was too cold. I have a new thermometer in there now, but the showgirls are in the first incubator....
