I may have cancer

all i know is that sugar feeds cancer. that and beer, better for you to have ten bags of sugar than beer. my grandpa had that and thats what my mother always said- and he got better! until he took chemo and radiation..

wishing you a full recovery! it can be hard but know that Jesus is there for you to help you through this.

My son had cancer when he was 2 years old and the surgeon told me to not give him vitamins (which i didn't anyway) because tumors live on them. My son is 16 years old now and still have never given him vitamins...I won't after the surgeon told me that. I also heard that sugar feeds cancer. Green teas are suppose to help fight cancer. Also pomagranate juice is a very high antioxidant, better than wine they say for the heart. Unfortunately, starting in the womb (my sons, Wilms' tumor) we are all doomed some where or another for cancer.

My thoughts are with you and my heart goes out to you.

The thought of a two year old going through major surgery and what I assume followed brings tears to my eyes. I hope that your son continues to have a long life and has gained at least some emotional strength from the experience.

In think it's important to follow a surgeon's advice regarding anything that you ingest whilst suffering a serious illness or on prescribed medication. Natural treatments may well be effective but a doctor's advice should be sought before taking them.

Dadsdeercamp: hope all is going well with your surgery. 2 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with a Kidney tumor as well. He had been in a car accident and a CT to check him all over showed this tumor on his kidney. He hadn't had any kidney related symptoms and things were caught early. He was almost grateful for that car accident. He had his surgery 2 months after that at the Minneapolis VA. He's had no chemo or radiation and he's been cancer free for these two years, getting CTs every 6 months. His cancer was a nasty grade 4, too. There are some great medicines out there tho' (chemotherapy) that can help reduce any chance of metasteses. Anti-angiogenesis drugs have had great results for Kidney cancers. They had mentioned them to my dad (1 pill for 7 days then off 3 weeks--doing this 3 months and then you're done) But as it turned out the U was finishing their study on this drug and my Dad wasn't eligible for the study. Maybe now 2 years later or at a different hospital you can get this.... Ask your Dr.'s about them as a preventative for spreading. Abbott is a dandy hospital to be at. One of the best in the state IMO. I think top notch nutrition is key too. Load up on Vitamin C for cancers. It's a healing vitamin. I hope your surgery went well today and you are quick to mend and back at chickening soon. Go easy and just take one day at a time. God Speed on your Recovery.

For every day that passes your pain will decrease a little... you are getting better albeit that you are in awful pain.

You are awesome... keep being strong - we are all with you and it is painful to know that you are suffering so much after your surgery.

Praying for you

Suzie

So sorry you are in pain...hopefully that will fade quickly. Remember they were moving around body parts in their....so things are going to be sore and painful.... Do what they say and take it easy.... You'll heal faster.
