Replace it the next time you go back maybe. I had a bag of moldy feed (very moldy, big chunks) so I buried it in the compost pile. Chickens dug it up and ate it anyway everyone was fine though.

I'll update whether every is okay over the next few days. The turkeys are the primary birds gobbling up all the feed right now, & forces me to refill the feeder sooner. Usually lasts about 2-3 weeks before the next refill when only feeding the chickens.

With Turkeys, it's almost every week, or week, & a half I need to refill it.

This is why(kind of) I pour the last of old feed into a bucket to use up before using new bag.
Never mix new feed in with old....tho have never had a bag go moldy.

The bag wasn't old, actually. All was bought at the same time.

This happened to me once. I picked out the moldy chunks at first, then I got scared and dumped the rest of the feed. My birds didn't suffer from eating a small amount if they did. I would just empty the feeder and start fresh.

Not quite sure what you mean?

The bag of feed I found mold at the bottom was a new bag of food I just finished off the day I posted. I believe it was in the corners of the bag.

So, I may, or may have not got any in the feeder.
