1 dozen eggs per gallon- it is awesome to have fresh milk and fresh butter

I also sell to the mailman, postmaster, and a few other regular customers that come up to the house.

LUCKY!You could make yogurt and cheese with that fresh milk!

well im hopeing that when my chickens start laying i dont have that problem but we have 5 kids that are married and have 9 grand kids and they all like eggs so between the kids and my parents along with my wifes parents we might need to get more chickens lol

I have the opposite problem. I have people who want 10+ dozen a week, and I only get 3 dozen large eggs, and 18 or so bantam eggs a week. I need more hens, but I have chicks due to hatch soon, and pullets and ducks not yet laying, so if I want to keep them I can't really get any more hens right now. Have to wait and see how many of the babies I'm keeping first. Also have a couple freeloaders at the moment with my broodies and sick/recovering rir.
