Take her over to see your neighbor's chicks. If you are lucky she will catch the "Hafta Have Chickens Virus" and then nothing will be able to stop her from getting some chickens. Good luck.

do everything you can to show that you will take full responsibility for them. from building their shelter, to figuring out extra things to do, to earn money to buy the feed. also comment on how they would eat the bugs out of the yard and such. I think if you prove you're responsible enough to handle it, she'll see it.
