I Miss PEANUT BUTTER!!!!! My First Rant

PEANUT BUTTER!!!!!

I have several jars, and I still eat pb. I don't even know what brand it was that was contaminated.

You could buy raw peanut and roast your own. I used to work with a lot of vietnamese and we would boil them in very salty water for about an hour. Yumm!

I feed them to the squirrels, and the chickens are nice enough to eat the shells left on the lawn.

We eat peanut butter every day around here.

Peter Pan and walmart brand are the same product made by Con-Agra.

The store brand peanut butters at Foodlion and Safeway and BiLo etc were not effected this last time either. My last jar was FL brand. Peanutbutter cookies I baked were soooooooo good!

We eat Peter Pan for PB&J. I cook with cheaper brands. LOL

Actually buy a new jar... peanut butter is probably one of the safest things you can eat now because of this scare. No company is going to put anything on the shelf that could possibly be contaminated. It's kind of like when someone has an accident on a roller coaster at a park... most people avoid that ride after that, but in actuality it's safer now than it ever was. There is no way they could have started it again if it hadnt passed every safety test possible.


Go buy some PB and enjoy it.

I went to grab a breakfast bar this morning and stood there going, "why aren't there any peanut butter flavors... sheesh their stock stinks!"

Then it hit me: peanut butter recall. No Clif bar for me. I had a lemon Luna bar instead. Meh... it was OK.

We are all eating it here...nobody has gotten sick...except from maybe eating too many peanut butter cookies.
