I missed having chickens!

I had chickens years ago and I'm getting started again this spring. I have an old dog coop that I used before. It works real well. I just need to put up fence. My yard is fenced in but I don't want the chickens running free all the time. We have hawks. Any ideas will be appreciated!

! Great to have you with us! Hawks are a problem where I live as well. Only ways to combat them: vigilance and being present when they free range, a covered run, or a something to patrol them - like a dog. Good luck to you!
