I agree, Polish can be evil, but not as evil as Silkies! I have 16 silkies, two of those newly hatching right now...plus 15 more silkies in the 'bator....

So far I only have one Polish, but he has informed me he needs/must have companions of his own kind!

No, not nearly as evil as silkies, but definitely in the top 5. I ONLY have 6, but am working on getting more. Mine are standards. I'm guessing the bantams would be easier to hold onto.

LCRT -- I wonder if the polish you saw wasn't blue or splash? Sometimes blue will come out an almost lavender color.
