Yes, hot spots are a possibility. They're more common in still air incubators though. Were the eggs that hatched all in the same spot?

It wasn't a still air unit, but who knows, aart made a good point about the turner motor generating more heat

I'm just curious myself whether the 9 eggs that hatched were all over or were they mainly together? It sounds like 10 hatched early, 10 will hatch on day 20 and the last ones on day 21 if all goes well

It is a Farm Innovator I picked up at TSC. the unit itself functioned well. But I'm glad I had my independent thermometer and hygrometer. The temp was spot on, But the humidity was reading 9% low. The unit maintained the correct humidity fine but the hygrometer on it was off

That was my thought as well. Next time I do this, I am going number them and note the location in the incubator. That may tell the story

55 to 60 for the first 18 days and now it's 70-75
