i forgot! ideal sells dutch bantams! they are my FAVORITE breed of chicken! i've said that about cornish, but i forgot all about dutch them!

just got word from my mom, she says i should get some from a feed store or someting, since these are going to be my first chickens.

just called tractor supplie, late april, they are going to have RIR's, Cornish X Rocks, and a bantam assortment! can't wait!

If you are getting one rooster, your neighbor WILL hear it, unless they are a good distance from you. Even a quiet rooster crows sometimes.

I can tell you which bantam breeds are not quiet

Unless you plan on breeding, and keeping the rooster indoors, you should stay away from roos. If anything will push a neighbor over the edge it will be a roo crowing 24 hours a day, and they do. It is not just a sunrise/sunset thing, they do it when they feel like it.
