Thank you for your input and my apologies for not getting back here sooner. I truly believe that information is key. My girl made it through this time. She is older but I pushed vitamins, minerals, and protein. She is back with her mates. I agree with organic practices. The only thing I have to compromise on now that I have this horrific disease is the worming twice per year. It just takes their immune systems down so they are susceptible to an attack of their virus letting loose. Again, thank you for your input. I appreciate everyone here so much.I didnt feel you were. Mareks is something I don't know enough about. The only people I've known in real life that weren't my immediate family, that were farmers were very insistent that organic was the way to go, and any animal that had medicine ever was unsuitable for humans to eat or even eat their products (eggs, milk) from what I've read online if someone flock gets Mareks their property has it forever so their's no point in having chickens unless you want it again. It's good to know that professionals feel that 1 year is over kill.
