Someone once told me that If you have a friendly rooster, Then his chicks that turn out to be roosters will be gentle and friendly too. Is this true?

That depends on the breed. The best way to have friendly Roos (besides the breed thing) is to raise them yourself, or to have them raised by a really friendly hen
