I think we all become very invested in each others problems, which is one of the things that makes this such a good community of people even though we are spread out all over the place!

I'm very glad you are out of the hospital...being home is such a good feeling, don't you think?

O my goodness it never dawned on me so many people would wonder what happened........
Well here is the rest of the story....
, I did call Tyson and acted like I wanted to build some chicken barns and I asked a ton of questions I was very shocked at the answers as a matter of fact it made me feel secure in my knowledge of wanting to go natural ( I have been very sick since I moved into this house, I'll share more in a few)
They did reassure me that if my neighbors had chickens it would be no worry to my new chicken barns because of all the Vacs and all the meds that are feed to these chickens from the get go.
They have NO air filter ventalation so there are no promises that any or all baby chicks will not get sick from a air born sickness that was not covered by all the said meds.
Many weeks went by and I figured that it had blown over, but it had not, on a Saturday I was dealing with the farrier and battling this crazy sickness I have, my husband was siting out front when I looked over and they had walked to my land and had started in on my hubby, I walked over with the farrier and my horse, and told them that what I had done ( not a smart idea)
The lady got so dang po'd at me that she started crying and being quiet a witch, her poor hubby wanted to sink into the ground my hubby left, he was so mad.
She went on to say that I was going to cost them their lively hood, and had she been thinking normal she would have put it into my purchase offer NO CHICKENS like she had done to the land that sold north of her barns, but I had met the new neighbor that had bought the land and he told me that he had NO animal restrictions ( her second lie to me)
She then told me that she would pay for all of my cost to get rid of them, I told her NO that I bought this farm to do as I please, if I wanted to raise pigs or goats or pink elephants that is what I would do, well that was my second mistake with her, she then proceeded to threaten me it ( she has land behind me and we have a 30 ft access lane to them on the fence line north of my home) she told me that she was being nice to me to let the horses graze on that access land, I came back with well chit I have been spraying it for weeds and thistles and I will be sending her the bill she told me to get a fence up ASAP or we would have issues, well that made me check into my land contract which states that I will allow them to use 30 ft off the fence line she does NOT own it
So I called her back to my home and we finished the fight
I informed her that my breathing problem is probably from the lack of ventalation from her 6 months of 100 thousand chickens pooping and them NOT cleaning it up

Will be doing a air qauilty test to see if her chicken barns are making me so sick that I have almost died 2 times Ina year, it has cost me tens of thousands of dollars and if we find out that it is her barn she will be paying me for all my medical bills
She got very quiet, I also told her if she didn't like that she could buy my house back for a added 75 thousand, she laughed at me lol
I also told her that I own that 30 ft and I am going to continue to own it with the understanding that they will and can use it and if they want o put a fence up and continue to maintain it free of weeds that's fine with me.
A few weeks went by and some of my chickens went missing so I have moved them to the back of my stud barn and they are living with my stud spirit and they all get along, spirit has never been happier about his living arrangements, he is very quick to share his grain I have a one rooster that is a Frizzle that when spirit lays down punkie will go and get on his back.
I now have over 150 chickens I decided to start raising silkies all colors and then I have about 60 laying hens and some roosters and then I have lol I am not for sure what they are but it don't matter I have fallen in love with them all and they are safe in the barn and pasture with spirit.
So the moral to this story is this..greed is real and that little ole lady that I liked was a liar and all she was worried about was MONEY and it didn't matter who she lied and tried to step all over she was willing to do what ever it took to get her way.
Lol you gotta feel bad for her cause she met the biggest witch and one that has a brain lol
To this day I am still dealing with a very bad sickness one that attacks me right out of the blue it has affected my left lung and now they are wanting to take it out but I am holding out because I am way too young for that, we will have a air test done as soon as the guy gets out here, we are in line lol

So it sounds like it was a whole lot of hullabaloo for absolutely nothing. They can raise their chickens in their building, and you can raise your chickens (150?????) and pink elephants and everyone is happy.

By the way, that was extremely clever of you to call Tyson under the guise of wanting to put up a chicken barn from them. That way you had all the ammunition you needed when Wacko Woman came over.

Oh, and if you get tired of their little visits, you can tell her that she needs to stop coming over to your property since you have chickens. Im sure Tyson doesnt want them going on farms that have chickens and then traipsing back to their chicken barn. And somehow Tyson just might find out what they are doing.

That should keep her whiny butt on her own property.

I'm so glad it all worked out in the end. After reading this, if this is an example of the suppliers Tysons contracts to I will never eat another Tyson chicken again. You could have caught the lung disease from her barn. Especially if it was an older one. Histoplasmosis is a lung disease caused by a fungus that grows on chicken droppings. It does not respond to antibiotics. Small children, the elderly and people with a compromised immune system are more susceptible to it. Hope you get well and stay well. You have my prayers.
