Bless your heart..you are doing great! When you hit a plateau and cannot drop anymore pounds..throw your body a curve...take a saturday and sunday and eat whatever you feel like and then on Monday...space your meals out more to 6 per day (small meals) and it will throw your metabolism into high gear again...then the body adapts and you hit another plateau...shock it again and so on. The body is the most incredible machine ever designed because it is so adaptable which therein lies its weakness to you. Make it do what you want and when it figures out what you are doing...change on it and then go back...the body cannot adapt as quickly as you do so you gain the benefits while the body is trying to sort out your newest change.

The mid-section for women is the absolute hardest to shed. Unlike men, it is our center of gravity and goes through the most abuse and change in our lives, especially with child bearing. Just do not give up...sneak in some crunches, pull the muscles in and hold them, release and pull in and hold again...whenever you get the chance...while cooking, watching TV whatever...just make it an easy exercise. You wil shed what you want in time.

Congrats on your losses thusfar.

It is funny how I have become so aware of how to lose weigh.t...I joined an online group almost 4 years ago now. All women, no men ever. Mothers only. It is ran by a wonderful mother of 4 (1 set of twins by C-Section)...she got tired of hanging on to her post baby weight and body and she set out to change it/ Her name is Michelle Berger aka BuffMother. She started hitting the gym and in little over a year she competed in her first NPC figure competition and won 5 NPC titles. She is an excellent trainer, teacher, supporter and all around great person. she has made it her goal to help women reclaim their bodies. I am one of the few in the group that are there to gain weight and or mass. She is fabulous and I just love her too pieces.

Here is a poster I made for her from one of her pictures...

I would post one of her full body posters I did but she is in a bikini and it may not be "family" okay.

She is absolutely da bomb. If you saw her before pictures you would look and say "wow what a transformation". Her website is http://www.Buffmother.com

check it out. She offers training, meal plans and a host of other fabulous things.

I weighed 95 lbs. @ 5' 7" when I got pregnant with my first child. I gained 51 lbs. with him and was down to 96 lbs. two weeks after he was born.
I weighed 98 lbs. when I got pregnant with my second child. Gained 56 lbs. with her. Lost all but 15 lbs. of it by the time she was a month old.
Ate everything. Spent years trying to put on weight. Then I had a complete hysterectomy in my 30s. BINGO! Here came the weight gain.

actually gritsar we are considering a hysterectomy...I hope I can gain and keep some weight after that. My mother has not really kept any large amount...she only put on about 10lbs so not alot. who knows.
