I need duck help

Sorry , females are 10 weeks and he wants nothing to do with them !
Their too young to want anything to do with him. lol
First off don't let him get close enough to you to climb up into your lap and grab hold of your arm. take the broom with you when you go out there make him get out of the way sweep him off of you. {Not hitting him but keeping him at arm length so to speak]. He is in a hormonal crazy time and he is trying to dominate you. I had one too, he is my best drake ever because I learned right here on BYC how to handle him. As soon as you see him coming stop him in his tracks put the broom between you and him if he keeps coming sweep his butt away also make him move when your walking towards him you are letting him know you are head duck not him. You can also get him behind the neck and at base of his body when his tail meets his body and hold him down on his belly till he quits fighting to get up, face him away from you so you can head him away when you let him up. I call all of this Tough Love.

By the way my Grand parents lived in Enola Pa. from 1936 till 2001 when my grandmother passed away they lived in Lebanon before that. My grandpa was an Engineer with the railroad. Wonderful memories of Enola.

Do you have mink, weasel? they are said to get though 1" hole might want to consider wrapping any open spaces in Hard ware cloth.
