No glue required, the PVC reducer just fits into the feeder and stays in with friction. Take your feeder with you to Home Depot and size up the reducer you need to fit. I didn't need to cut the reducer, it just fits perfectly on its own. I did have to sand the diameter of the reducer on some of the feeders to get it to fit without pushing too hard. It's time consuming to get the feeders made, but they really cut down on the food waste.
