Thanks. I always thought I took good pics too. I was just working w/ a major handicap. Your new camera will totally blow your mind. Everytime I go out for a shoot

(always feel like a real photographer w/ that thing around my neck) I cannot wait to get home and download everything and then I just stare and smile. Next thing is a good photoshop program. Anyone have any helpful advice there?

I feel like my kids grow so fast and I am doing them an injustice when I don't shell out for fancy portraits every so often so I capture the true them... ya know? This one expense will be a big money saver in the long run.

Panasonic Lumix. Not as expensive, but capable of art show award winning prints. (also landed me the POW on BYC with the photo below)

Taken with this camera and not one of my better works IMHO

All of my digital cameras have been fuji's. The first in 1999 then 2004, 2008 and the newest 2009. The 2008 was a small portable one which my son broke the lcd screen. The new one is a finepixs200exr and I love it have gotten some really great pics with it. Now I have been looking for a new small camera don't know wether to get the same one I had on ebay or get a newer one.

This past Christmas I graduated from a Fuji to a Nikon D90. It's an awesome camera. I haven't checked the credit card bill (it was a gift! LOL), but I'm sure it carries an awesome price as well. This camera takes me back to my photography classes. Of course, I've forgotten all that I learned in school. I've had a blast playing with the camera, but I haven't seen any of my work on the computer, yet. My computer is soooo freaking slow, and I think it's due in part to the hundreds of photos that I have. I won't load any of my D90 stuff to the computer until I hook up the CD burner that I have, but have forgotten how to install, so that I can clear up some space.

I started with an old Canon back in 7th grade. I have never been unloyal to them either. I understand how the camera functions (much easier than other brands MHP) and never have to re-learn anything.

Wow, so many choices!!

I am totally looking forward to this purchase. I am so excited to get it and take a couple shot and show you all!!! Thanks again to everyone for their input!!!! I AM SO EXCITEDDDDDD
