Thank you all so much. My friends and I are getting together today to see what we can come up with. Then we are going to the pastor and talk to him. Its Christmas and If all we can give is eggs well then darnit. EGGS IT IS!!!!

We donate our extra eggs (right now we're not getting any extra though due to molting and lack of daylight

) and the food shelf staff is always thrilled to see us coming in with a few dozen eggs. As an extra incentive, keep in mind that this counts as a charitable donation and should be claimed on your taxes. Not to sound greedy, but if being charitable can save you some money, you'd be foolish not to!
