I need good ideas for a portable run please!

Hi,
My beautiful chicken coop is built on a flat bed trailer that we will move around the yard . We would love to be able to free range our chickens to be but because we cannot rely our our Dobie's self restraint we need a portable run. does any one have any good ideas?Thanks

chain link dog kennel - we have one that is 6 x 10 and two people can pick it up and move it. Depends on how many birds you have. They are strong enough to keep dogs out!

I would LOVE to see a picture of your coop on the trailer! I have been trying to talk my hubby into doing this.

That is really nice! I'd also go with a chain link dog run. If you get the kind with panels and not stretched wire you could move it yourself--it would take some time, but could be done by one person.

Hi, The coop is 7x10'. We hope to house about 10 chickens but everyone I've talked to never stops at their self imposed limit.One of my friends thought she would like a couple of chickens in her yard. She now has 50 and is eyeing some chicks newly hatched at the tractor supply store. We'll see.

Dog cage is what I would do as well it is easy to mave and big enough for all of them.
