I need hatching support

Were finally back home!! Dropped everything and ran to check on everyone. The little maybe a silkie chick is fluffing up! He looks totally different from the other the hens hatched. One was all white and one was chipmunk striped. He definitely has pink skin. And fuzzy fee . My other egg doesnt seem to have made much progress tho. Lots of pics attached to this one!

The little guy ran from me at first, then I started talking and peeping to him and he ran back over. Now hes eyeballing me like he wants to cuddle and trying to get to me out of the incubator. (Or at least that's the story i made up in my head anyways). From the pics, do you think I should let him dry more? Or wait until his friend has hatched out?

I'll get pics of the parents tomorrow. It's already almost dark here and I want good pictures. I also dont want to blind the poor birds with flash

I know next to nothing about incubator hatching but I hope your hatch goes well! And that maybe-a-Silkie is very cute. Congrats!

It was super cool to see him hatch for sure!! I hope I have more than just 2 hatch!! The little guy is super tired now. He was up moving all over the place. I think I hear more faint peeping too!!

When do yall think it's safe to remove the early hatchers? Hes pecking at the other eggs now..This one is 2 days early, the other will hopefully be out soon!

Almost!! I cleaned it out with sanitizer one more time and am just letting the heat lamp dry out. I actually need to go and check it and finish setting it up. Thx for the reminder! These little fluffballs are soooo hypnotizing I'll have some pics of that set up in just a few if its dry!
