I NEED HELP ASAP

I bought some chicks that were 7-weeks old. 2 had toes bent inward. One on just one foot, the other had one toe on each foot. Luckily they get along fine. The one with both feet messed up is called "Crooked Toes". She's my best layer!

My curly toed guy was my favorite too lol he was a blue Silkie

Personally I would not even give him a water container but I would hold him up to it to get a drink. He's in the bator so he's going to need something to drink soon

He'll drink even if he's just now out of the egg? I thought they don't usually drink for the first couple days but I'll give him some water right now. It's gotta a little bit of sugar in it. Someone earlier told me to give him water with a little bit of sugar for some extra electrolytes

Yeh he's gonna need a drink. They can go for three days without food and water because they have there yolk inside to get them threw. However it is not recommended for therm to go that long. So being in a bator all dried up at 101 I would definitely make sure he's got some vitamin water.

I also got told that putting some Gatorade in his water could boost him up with vitamins.. I gave him some of the water and he drank a lot of it

I just have to butt in long enough to say...for a non-duck person, this is all very fascinating. Wow, you guys know ducks!

Back to my reading now...

Mine love Gatorade!

I put a little bit of strawberry Gatorade in his water and he's enjoying it and he's getting a bit better with his feet. I also put some chick starter in a little bit of warm water and made it mushy enough for him to eat. He's ate some. Well, he's ate a lot which I'm glad about. He's now sleeping so I think he's gonna be ok!
