hello. I'm very new to this. I rescued two chicks the older about 3 to 4 weeks. but also had two Delaware chicks about a week old if that. my smallest died tonight and because ofthe age difference they have been separated abd now my Delaware is all alone. I don't now what to do. I've been up with her all night. she doesn't want to be alone. but I work in the morning??? only for four hours but I'm dl so scared I don't want to lose her!! help

Hello,

Combine her with the other chicks you currently have. If that's not an option I would suggest you get some additional chicks to combine with. You shouldn't have any problems combining these groups as they should be fine together. If you do combine them make sure you watch them for the first couple of hours just to make sure everything is working out fine.

Hope this helps...

there is a big size deference between them. they were picking on her earlier... well it stress her out. I don't know what to expect.?

Hello,

It might take them a couple of hours to get use to one another. I have Jersey Giant's mixed with Sebright bantams (a huge size difference) with no problems. In all honesty, it was my smaller birds that caused the problems I had when combining two groups I had this year. Just keep a close eye on them and see what you think...

Hope this helps...
