I need help identifying this bird

The reason I guess I saw a bird is because her father has a flying goose on his side & a few of his other offspring also had "birds" in their spots.

Here is a picture of "Goose" (my avatar pic)

For those of you who couldn't see the bird on the filly's face, it is facing to the right, a tall topknot, you can see the beak on the right, and the long neck. After that it looses shape.

I showed DH the responses & he couldn't see the lady in a dress until I showed him the Celtic Summer picture. Then he said...Yep I see it now.

I see Roadrunner from the cartoon!!! I also see the filly and her dad in my pasture - they would go well with my herd!!!!!

You would have to fight my GD for the filly....she claimed her as soon as she saw her. which was about 15 minutes after she was born. I thought I was gonna get a horse to ride, but I lost out.

DH sold Goose this summer.

The more I look, the more I like the lady in the dress.
Now I will have to think of a fitting name for her. Something ladylike but tough.
Her Father's name is Lads Imperial (Goose) and her Mother's name is Docs Stardust Rocket (Dusty).

I want to keep Doc in her name.

I can see the lady on your filly's face but the outline of the Cat in the Hat is perfect!! The name Lady is so common, so go with something different. I'd name her "Rafter's Cat in the Hat" with the barn name of Hattie.
