The hay looks fine to me. My horse and the other 3 goats have been eating it too. I just think he may have ate too much? or had something else wrong inside we could not see. I actually put the hay out in the pen just on the ground maybe it got rained on or too much due on it and did not set well with him?
It really upsets me he suffered and I could do nothing for him.
On our way out the door to the vet I gave him two baking soda balls and I wonder if that did him in. A friend though told me to make sure he is staying warm and he was not so that might have took its tole. I did not get that message from her till after we got done at the vets though. I will think about that next time, if there is knock on wood.
He did feel cold around the mouth when I gave the baking soda to him....so I was worried about that.
