I need help naming a pair of peafowl...

here is a close up of his neck...
I was holding him under one arm and trying to
take a picture with the other...
( I had taken 2 other pics but was unable to download...sorry )

he is a peacock not a hen..... he is going on 8 months...late hatch...

He is a late bloomer, all mine have blue black cheeks and black flight feathers already, i thought he was like 5 or 6 months old if it was a male, he will catch up, i got one white female that is bigger than all of last years hatch and she is my only female without spurs, funny how they can differ.

Don't know about naming them most of mine just come to"here peas, come get some peanuts or cheese,eggs or bananas "

May I suggest the names Lucy & Ricky for your lovelies. Or Ethel & Fred, Rob & Laura. Sorry, I'm in a classic character pair mood right now.

I have been calling the peacock
Lil boy....and guess it will stay that way...don't know why but he died last night. He hasn't been sick and no signs of anything getting at him...I'm heart broken.
Double checked everyone in the pen and they all appear fine...
He would let me pick him up and hold him which I did regularly and I think I would have noticed if something was wrong..different.
Feel like a bad mama ....
....think Lily will be the hens name.

Sorry he passed, sometimes they are gone before we notice them ill, i had one turn up sick one evening and the next morning he died before i could figure out what was wrong.

What do you feed your peas?
