I have 12 wild turkey eggs I got them today I seen a fox kill the mother and I got the eggs and put them in my incubator they are moving in the egg right now I don't know if I should turn them or not I have it at 99 degrees I don't know what to do.

That's the thing in not sure but the eggs are very active moving around I seen another mother turkey today shhe just had her little ones

Can you candle the eggs to see how far along they are? If they look all dark except for the air cell they are probably ready to stop turning. You may also be able to see a little shadow in the air cell - if you see that, they are internally pipped and they don't need to be turned anymore. It's okay if you stop turning them a few days before they are 'supposed' to go into lockdown - it won't hurt them. Likewise, I've had chicks hatch in the turner when I didn't know their exact hatch date.

Also, I would keep it on the down low that you got the eggs from the wild. It's actually illegal to take the eggs like that and if the authorities found out you could get fined.

Yeah they are all black except for the pocket I just didn't want the chi ks to die to I won't tell nobody thank you all for the help

I hope they will be okay. You can check out the turkey forum - just say the mother was killed by a predator and you are trying to save them in an incubator. That's all anybody needs to know. Go to the 'OTHER Backyard poultry forum" above - and look for the turkey threads & post on one to ask for incubating help . Turkey people should know . Good luck, I hope you can hatch them.
