Okay so I have wormed them yesterday for roundworms, so in 10 days worm them again? & be done or I havr to worm for 7 dayd strait won't that poison them??
What abiut ivamec 5% in their skin

You can worm them again in 10 days with the wazine. I dont recommend ivomec products. Consider purchasing Safeguard liquid goat wormer or Valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer when you decide to worm them in the future and use either of these products instead of wazine.

Resistance to Ivermectin does occur, but not everywhere. I've been told that it works fine here in Michigan still. Fenbendazole can cause illness in chickens, so it's not recommended. I wish there was an effective approved product too. Mary

I'm in TN so idk? But valbazen is really expensive here. Is the safeguard work just as well? What strength is it that I need
I'd like to make sure they're free from all worms

Fenbendazole is one of the safest wormers there is for poultry and other livestock. I've used it for years and still use it. Do not use fenbendazole during molt, it will cause retarded feather regrowth. Chickens shouldnt be wormed during molt anyway, too much stress on their system.

Also, ivermectin is ineffective against certain poultry mites. Again, overuse is the culprit. Scroll down to "efficacy of ivermectin," then down to 'Poultry.'

Purchase Safeguard liquid goat wormer, use a syringe without a needle to administer it orally undiluted. Dosage is 1/2cc given orally to each chicken once a day for 5 days straight. It's best to worm birds early in the morning prior to feeding. It will make the wormer more effective killing the hungry worms.

Administer valbazen orally undiluted using a syringe without a needle. Dosage is 1/2cc orally to each chicken. Repeat dosing in 10 days.
Here's what you do to get their mouth open: Preload your syringe with the liquid wormer. Have someone hold the chicken for you. Then all you have to do is pull the wattles down and her mouth will open. Then squirt the wormer in her mouth and IMMEDIATELY let go of the wattles so she can swallow the liquid on her own. If you dont immediately let go of the wattles, she could aspirate and then there would be big problems.
Also, when you pull the wattles down she may try to shake her head to get loose, hang on tight to the wattles and dont let go. She'll eventually tire and stop shaking her head.
If you have a hen without wattles, pull the skin down under the lower beak, then her mouth will open.
Dont worry, you wont hurt them...you're doing them a great favor keeping them healthy by worming them.
Do a couple practice sessions prior to the actual dosing, you'll do fine. You'll be an expert before you know it. Then one of these days you'll be able to cradle the bird in your arm and worm her by yourself.
